As I type, my friends are a street festival rocking out to live music, cold beverage in hand. It’s a pristine day here in Chicago – a rare beauty with blue skies, a warm sun and a light breeze coming off the lake.
On A Mission
And here I sit, in an uncomfortable hotel chair, in a room that is alternately freezing cold or sticky hot, from 10am to 10pm, working on me. Working on my business.
Because I’m on a mission. And I will not stop. And I don’t know what I don’t know, so I remain coachable. I gladly give up this gorgeous day to fulfill my purpose on this earth.
Don’t get me wrong, I make time to play. I make time to recharge my batteries. I make time for me. But this perfect Saturday I sacrifice, happily.
